Tissue World Asia is a big success, drawing over 3,300 trade visitors
Shanghai, China . . . The Tissue World Asia 2006 conference and exhibition was very successfully held during November 15-17, 2006 at Intex Shanghai. This was the second time that the Tissue World event has been held in Asia and feedback from exhibitors, visitors and conference delegates has all been very positive.
In fact the survey of exhibitors done immediately after the event showed an extremely high level of satisfaction with the quality of the visitors, as well as the access that the exhibition offered to the dynamic and fast growing Chinese tissue market.
The event attracted a total of 3,382 registered visitors who came to learn about the latest technologies and developments available in the Asian marketplace. In addition, the one and a half day technical conference drew a crowd of over 250 delegates. Approximately 90% of visitors were from Asia, with the remaining 10% coming from all the other continents of the world. A total of 68 countries were represented by the visitor base.
The exhibition covered a total area of 4500 square meters and included 87 leading supplier companies to the tissue producing and tissue converting industries. For detailed statistics on the event, please click here.
Driven by the success of this event, many exhibitors were quick to sign up for a prime space at the next Tissue World Asia 2008 which will take place on 19-21 November 2008 at the same venue, Intex Shanghai. As standspace is already starting to fill up, supplier companies are encouraged to act now to ensure a prime location at the 2008 event.
