Latin America: Challenges and opportunities – Approaches to accelerate the success

In every difficult economic climate where challenges are high, opportunities and success can be seen on the horizon.

Brazil’s inflation rate loomed to its lowest level since March 2014 to just below 6 % and confidence in the manufacturing sector is on the rise. Brazilian’s economy could start to grow again. Equally important, the global tissue outlook for Latin America is stable. Market trends are driven by modest economic growth and demographic expansion. In the tissue and hygiene industry, a notable 11 % increase has been recorded in retail sales (2015).

Further growth in Latin America is expected with an average increase of 3 % per annum until 2020. It is the right time to invest in your tissue business, now.

Opportunities to the tissue industry will be the key driver in the high-level Senior Management Symposium (31 May) and presentations are designed to show approaches to accelerate the success. These include the micro- and macroeconomic outlook and perspectives, logistic aspects, trade flows, pulp and sustainability, market opportunities, tax expertise and finished product trends.

The functional and hands-on Technical Sessions will follow on Thursday and Friday (1-2 June) which cover the latest and most relevant information and case studies, presented by tissue industry experts.
