New Intelli‑Reel™ and tail threading system for PT Suparma TBK, Indonesia
We would like to announce that in November 2006, PMP signed the contract with PT Suparma TBK for a reel, a new tail threading and sheet stabilizing system delivery. This public company, listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange, operates 7 PMs with a total combined capacity of 165,000 tons per year. Except for variety of products made of board, kraft papers, newsprint, writing and printing, laminated product, the mill produces superior quality tissue and hand towels Plenty and See U.
The new Intelli ReelTM will be installed on the modernized second hand PM#8. The reel trim is max 2560 mm, the design speed is 800 mpm whereas max jumbo roll dia is 2000 mm. The equipment supply is scheduled to be completed until the end of February 2007.
