Tissue World 2025 will feature two distinct technical tracks to showcase innovative and impactful insights:

TECH TALKS STAGE

• Abstracts selected for the TECH TALKS will be presented in an open seminar area within the exhibit hall.
• These sessions will not overlap with the main conference program and will be accessible to all Tissue World attendees.

TECHNICAL CONFERENCE SESSIONS

• Some submitted abstracts may be selected for the Technical Conference Sessions, an integral part of the main conference.
• These sessions will be open exclusively to registered conference delegates.
• Technical sessions will span over the conference days of the event and will not coincide with the TECH TALKS.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts focusing on compelling, innovative, or improved technologies and solutions. Presentations should emphasize Benefits and Results rather than solely outlining features.

Technical Topics and Speaker Guidelines

Speakers must provide:

• A short biography (150 words).
• A recent headshot.
• An abstract (100–200 words) summarizing the paper and its relevance to tissue makers and converters.

Preferred Track:
Speakers may indicate a preference for presenting on the TECH TALKS stage or in the TECHNICAL CONFERENCE SESSIONS. While the review committee will strive to accommodate these preferences, session placement cannot be guaranteed.

Presentation Topics: Abstracts should align with one of the following preliminary topics:

1. Papermaking Developments
2. Sustainable Improvements: Energy Reduction and Savings
3. Wrapping, Packaging, and Logistics
4. Pulping, Fibers, and Raw Materials
5. Innovation and Process Improvements
6. Auxiliary Components in Tissue Making

Guidelines for Presenters:

1. Present innovative or improved technology relevant to tissue making and converting.
2. Focus on Benefits and Results—presentations highlighting only features will not be accepted.
3. Keep the presentation concise, engaging, and impactful. Avoid overly detailed scientific discussions; instead, emphasize key takeaways for tissue makers and converters. More details can be shared at your booth during the event.
4. Priority will be given to papers developed in collaboration with mill personnel as case studies.
5. Presentations must be non-commercial—sales pitches are strictly prohibited. Focus on technology and its practical applications for the tissue industry.
6. Presentations must not exceed 15 minutes. Adhering to this time limit is mandatory.
7. If your abstract is accepted, the final presentation must be submitted to [email protected] no later than 17 March 2025.
