Tissue World Dusseldorf Conference opens Call for Papers for Technical Sessions


The Tissue World Dusseldorf 2021 Conference will take place on 22 and 23 September 2021. It will include technical sessions which will provide innovative content from forward-thinking tissue industry professionals. 

The overarching Conference theme will be: TURNING A NEW PAGE IN TISSUE: THE ROUTE MAP FOR A RESHAPED WORLD


Technical Sessions will be grouped around:

  • Energy and Water Management
  • Parent Reel Manufacturing; 
  • Converting up to the Finished Products (including Wrapping, Packaging,  Wrapping, Logistics) 
  • Process Management (including LCA, Digitalization, Automation, Maintenance)
  • Innovative Product.

This call for papers is open to all to submit abstracts in line with the following guidelines:     

  • ONLY non-commercial abstracts will be taken into consideration;·        
  • Innovative technology, solutions (improvements and best practices) 
  • Demonstrating new evidence-based approaches 
  • Case studies in cooperation with mill personnel 
  • Focus on benefits and results (rather than features)

 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 15 JUNE 2021 

Authors wishing to present a paper are requested to submit an abstract by the deadline, outlining the paper to be given and the reasons why they believe that this is of interest to the industry.

 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS:

  1. Abstract of 100-200 words in English
  2. Working title for the final presentation 
  3. Speakers’ name, job title and company, speakers’ short biography 
  4. Speakers’photo in high res (300dpi) 
  5. Short outline of benefits offered to the industry  
     


ACCEPTANCE OF THE ABSTRACT:

Notification of acceptance will be emailed by 1 July 2021
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Program Advisory Board and considered on a first-come first-served basis. Due to restricted number of presentation slots, only a limited number of abstracts will be accepted and commercial abstracts will be rejected.
 
 
CONDITIONS FOLLOWING ACCEPTANCE:

      
One (1) speaker per submitted abstract, co-authors will be listed only
     
One (1) co-presenter will be admitted for case studies (Tissue mill personnel)
    
A total of 15 minutes will be allocated to each presentation.

Submission Deadline for Abstracts: 15 June 2021  

Notification of Acceptance: 1 July 2021

Deadline for Final Presentation: 31 July 2021
