Award Guidelines

1. Eligibility

The Tissue World Awards are open to organisations and teams that have made exceptional contributions to the tissue industry in Europe. To be eligible, applicants must either operate in Europe or have initiatives that impact the European market.

2. Entry Submission

  • There is no cost to submit a nomination. However, shortlisted nominees are required to purchase tickets to attend the awards ceremony
  • All entries must be submitted by 18 December, 2026 at 10 AM GMT through the official online entry platform (No other submission methods are accepted)
  • Only fully completed entry forms will be accepted
  • All entries, supporting materials, and uploaded files must be in English

3. Entry Requirements

  • Word limits must be strictly adhered to
  • You can enter as many unique nominations as you like, but ensure each entry is clearly related to the chosen category
  • Provide complete contact details for a designated contact person on the entry form to ensure smooth communication
  • By submitting your entry, you certify that the information provided is accurate and adheres to the category requirements

4. Judging Process

  • Judges will assess entries based on the specific requirements of each category
  • Judges reserve the right to move entries to different categories if deemed appropriate
  • All information provided to judges will be used solely for judging purposes and will be treated confidentially
  • Judges will recuse themselves from evaluating any entries where a conflict of interest exists
  • The judges' decision is final and binding
  • The judges will assess anonymised entries to eliminate the risk of bias

5. Shortlist Announcement

  • Shortlisted nominees will be notified on 2 February 2027
  • The names of shortlisted entrants and category winners will be published on our website
  • The names of companies/individuals whose entries are not shortlisted will remain confidential

6. Awards Ceremony

  • Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 6 April 2027
  • All shortlisted companies must have at least one representative attending the awards ceremony

Submit Your Entry: Once you have completed your application, submit it along with all required information and supporting documents by the entry deadline.

  • Decarbonization initiatives including renewable energy integration, fuel switching, and process innovations 
  • Greenhouse gas emissions reductions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 with science-based targets 
  • Pathway to Net Zero with credible interim milestones and timeline 
  • Third-party verification of energy and emissions performance 
  • Business impact demonstrating competitive advantage through reduced costs and enhanced sustainability positioning
